Old Money is a self-published book about my work that speaks to a personal quest to unravel the enigma of “Old Money,” a term that always mystified me. In my mind, the term “Old Money” represented a privileged, untouchable class of people who had no correlation to me, what so ever. After years of deciphering through misinformation and hidden truths, it was revealed that the contributions of my African ancestors had a direct part in creating the first millionaires in America.

 

This book is a collection of images of my drawings, collages, prints and sculptures accompanied by my writings inspired by those images. Based on research from many sources, I walked through my history with fresh new eyes free from blinders, smoke screens, and cover-ups’.
